I am sure many have already seen this, but good advice cannot be repeated often enough.

Everyone has to define what 'Living" is for themselves.    Is living simply a matter of breathing?  Or is it a matter of trying to reach your full potential in everything you do?     If you think about this, you may find that it is more of a black and white issue than you think it is.

No Mans Land

So maybe you should ask yourself what would bring you to these parts? I mean, there is getting a little off the road less travelled and there is hiking into this hellish No Mans land of a website.

Just remember, and this advice comes from years of doing everything the hard way, ...Good is quietly everywhere. Bad is loud and scarier, but desperately outnumbered.     Also, a weakness can be a strength if used in the proper situation.

Travel on, but be careful in there.  Things are not always as they appear. 

The successful homeless.

Goal to be the most successful homeless man in history.   Would settle to be in the elite top 1%.  Maybe start a new wage class, the millionaire homeless.
I will do some research. My suspicion is there are some VERY successful former homeless people.

Do gypsies count as homeless?    Criminals don't count, either.

Be all you can be.  Tear down the walls.   In the meantime, I now have gas to get to my daughters graduation. Time to put on the big boy pants and find some work to pay car insurance.   

Help a Hundred

What is this?

Help a hundred is a dream I have.   Many people have had faith in me to do something through the years. Some thought I would be a fantastic bowler. Nah, that wasn't it.  I have done a lot of things in my life to let people down, as well as myself.  Some of those things could have killed me, or maybe even imprisoned me.   I do not dodge my responsibilities.  I was simply a lost puppy who didn't seem to understand what they were.  I want to pay my debts off, and pay it forward.    The dream is to find people in similar stages of life that are kind of like deer in the  headlights.  Talented, kind people that may not realize what their talents are, or they can't seem to get moving.

I want to build a network capable of getting people the tools they need to succeed.   We meet them, and have them write down all their skills and personality assets. Then ask them what they LOVE, and try to get them headed into their own business, or an independent contractor situation.  Teach a man to fish....
Their  pledge is to pay it forward when they succeed.

Challenge.

I challenge my children to follow through with this plan.     Why not challenge your kids, also?


Everyone has their own view of who to help, and why and how.     Make your own twist to this plan, and follow it 

Over a lifetime, if every good person helped 100 others.....

Been a rough 9 months but we are still alive. still smiling and still hold hands. I am honestly the luckiest man alive. I lost a quarter this morning and it was like the crash of 08. I lost a fourth of my portfolio in minutes....and Amy smiles at me and I feel like a million bucks. To all of you that don't know what that feels like, I hope one day you find it.

As we look into this valley of unknown, I am comforted by the fact that I finally know there is absolutely nothing to fear. I am holding the hand that brought me peace, and I will hold that hand for as long as she will have me. This, is my faith.
