I wrote this a long time ago, maybe I posted it on the blog...maybe not.

This is about plans. Success is individualistic. There are those that play a very long game on a very large playing field. To those playing a short, almost immediately satisfying, result oriented contest, you may think you are winning, or even TOLD you are winning. You may think you won the war but don't even realize what you lost.

Court vision. Talent stack. Scoring rubric. Game plan. / gibberish?

2 players in front of you, not playing the same game. Not the only players, just the pieces you see. One guy scores, one guy swings and misses. Who wins? Depends on their scoring rubric. The rubric you are informed of may not matter.

It just feels good to think it does.

Some see the entire field as the play unfolds. Some see what's under their nose.

Some call things they don't understand "crazy".

Some prefer it that way.
