An important rule of measure in my world is A Month Of Sundays.    (7 1/2 months, give or take.)

Use your powers for good. It is the Law of this land

The hardest part about trying to fix permanent damage is how long you spend trying to fix it after you know there is nothing you can do to make it right.

Characters of the Game

I swear, there was a decades worth of 'Events' in an hour of news yesterday. Does that mean there were a centuries worth that we did not see? Exponential growth is a fascinating thing to try to perceive. The game moves at the speed of life, whether you are or not.
...........

We live in a time of restricted freedom. Once you enter a hospital, there may not be any opportunity for closure.   Pre death memorial service , online or in person- based on your areas current legal situation, may be advisable.

Not joking.

............

How to think critically?    Abstract.  Imagine things not being there. Subtract things.  If we did not have chairs, how would that impact daily living?  Just subtract things from your view of life, or add, and you will be on your way to seeing things that aren't there. Ask those questions to yourself, and google as you see fit.  Why would someone use those words? What are they NOT saying?
You will start asking questions that challenge. 'Why' is a big word.
Just as some do not get humor, not everyone thinks critically. Even fewer appreciate it.
..........

Still waiting for that emergency announcement saying WHOOPS ,vegetables are sentient and we weren't supposed to eat ANY of this.
----------------
Fascinating,
 the hills
some choose to die on.
Much like Tolkien pointed out
 that not all who wander
 are lost,
 every now and again
a competition will arise
that you thought
you won,
but did not.
Your opponent knew the scoring rubric,
 you did not.
You were playing
 two
entirely different games.
----------------
Haven't been in much of a bloggy mood.  Just found out a guy I knew passed away.  I'm at that age, you know?  Anyway, never knew him well, but every time I saw him for over 30 years he made me laugh or smile.  Just nothing but positives.  I can be a depressing asshole, but I greatly appreciate good people.

I have a story about John.   He used to throw bowling balls called The Bandit, and the Outlaw. During league, he would drop quarters in those gumball machines, trying to get the little toys.  Some were little pistols.  If he left a ten pin, he would draw, and shoot at the pin.     You probably had to be there....but it was at that point that I learned to start appreciating the characters I run into.  The characters in your life make it worth living. The characters of a game make it worth playing.

Rigging The Game

If you are against the grain, you will only be judged by success
But failing til your last breath
Has to be done.
So someone
can make it.
Not everyone is creative
Few of those
Break through
But innovation takes all of us
To manifest.
Odds, are what they are.
One second, an artist has nothing but that twinkle,
The next, they are the Herald sent from above.
Odds.
Someone has to lose for the rest to win.
So the rest can see that someone CAN win...

Hey Ev'body. Welcome to todays injury report.
Lots of generic aches and pains, nothing serious. Had a few swelling scares over the last week, but all seem to be in check. Still can't stand up straight, but no sharp pains, just seems like arthritis in my back and I cannot stand straight up.
Doing absolutely nothing seems to have reduced the severity of the flare ups.
It Sucks.  ...but it's not about easy, is it?

Ever'body hurts, sometimes, and there are people worse off than me that make less noise about it. Bless their souls.

Saw that demon semen was trending on twitter.  I still remember when my school Trojans played the Seaman.   Always memorable play by play.

-------

I have 5 newer shirts. All have food stains in about the same spot.  One may look at this as a sign that basic motor skills have bid me adieu, and that is not wrong,  but I am encouraged and expect to start losing a few pounds. Perhaps I can market this into a new diet plan.  Just lose a forkful every so many bites and watch the pounds melt away.
I look forward to the DVD.
---------

My wife has admitted to hiding and throwing away my tie dye smiley face shirt, my Bob Ross shirt, and my green mountain dew shirt.   The jury is still out, but one thing in her favor is my gong still has a spot on the entry way table.
Still missing is my laugh track button, and she loaned my microphone to my brother in law.( For work, worse yet)

Larp?

I look at these kids on the internet and their role playing larps, becoming caricatures of themselves and I scoff.

Back in my day, we had to get off the couch and actually create a double life in real time. Mistakes were embarrassing and costly.

Some of us were caricatures when it wasn't cool.

Societal norms often confused with sanity

It says on the box it doesn't work for the purpose you are being forced to use it for...

But people will try to shame you into it...

I always say the best way to find out if a program is working is to see how much support it has from those it harms...

Currently looking for new stores to shop in. Eventually, I will starve and pass away ...which is the point....to get rid of people who remember what freedom was. ..so they can't tell the others

Reexamine

The numbers people believe as opposed to what they don't....fascinating.

Disinformation has won.  There are no knowable facts left.

There is probably a handful of people on the planet that actually know the whole truth.

The rest are puppets, game pieces...chattel.

We all live and die based on the fairytale we believe in....
That's actually not fair to fairytales.
I suspect there is more truth hiding in fiction than we ever want to know.

I always found it interesting that a lack of government is considered a state of disorder.
