Obsolete.  I will let you  find the actual definition of the word.  It means 'no longer of use'. Replaced by the next big thing.

Technology often does this to a business that forgot to keep innovating out of their own business plan.  I like to think of it as being buried in the box that you wouldn't allow yourself to think outside of.

Newspapers, magazines, music....many others. All cling to business models that ceased to function.  The first order of a dominate business in a dying sector seems to be to increase market share until there is only one big dog left, then it dies and is replaced by an entirely different group of companies that are all doing it differently.

Most industries, organizations, governments and people in general seem to try to dodge change, and control the innovation within there business and life plan.  They die a little quicker because they would not adapt..

I believe real freedom happens when you are ready to start at zero. It doesn't mean you have to be at zero, just willing to be there if that is what it takes.  Everything gets easy to accept when you realize nothing is truly set in stone if you don't believe it is.

Most of our precious stone is usually more like jelly.
